The rates are dynamic depending on item when it comes to harvesting, XP rate is set to 2.5 which will be affected by all other boosted rates. Taming is a special case where the taming rate is low but the eating rate is high so taming foods don't become obsolete. Mating and breeding rates are all boosted.
